I’m Sierra, the founder and designer behind Patched Gal!

Born and raised in Woodstock, Georgia, I’ve had a love for fashion for as long as I can remember. I started sewing at just 11 years old, trading in sports for sewing lessons, filling binders with fashion sketches, and dreaming of one day seeing people wear my designs.

In 2020, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design and a minor in Fashion Marketing and Management.

What began as a childhood passion has grown into Patched Gal, a brand built around individuality, creativity, and a love for all things handmade.

Inspired by everything from runway fashion to everyday street style, I love taking forgotten textiles and giving them new life. Through unexpected fabric combinations, oversized silhouettes, and thoughtful details, I create one of a kind pieces that celebrate self expression and encourage people to wear whatever makes them happy.

Over the years, my journey has taken me places I once only dreamed of, from having my designs showcased through SCAD Fashion in Frame to creating a custom stage piece for Grammy Award winning artist Jill Scott. My work and story have been featured in ESSENCE, PEOPLE, The Atlanta Journal Constitution’s UATL, and Enjoy Cherokee, along with television appearances on Atlanta Live and FOX 5 News.

But beyond every accomplishment, one of my greatest joys is seeing people embrace their individuality through something I’ve created.

I believe fashion is art, handmade craftsmanship deserves to be celebrated, and there should never be rules when it comes to expressing yourself.
